1. Who is responsible

Motkan LLC operates Echo Loop and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. “We,” “us” and “our” refer to Motkan LLC.

2. Information we use

The game does not request your address book, precise location, microphone or photos. Friends are added by code. Card details are handled by the store. We do not collect birth dates or require an email address to create the game account. The game has no sign-in with Apple, Google or any other provider.

We receive this information from your device, your use of online features, your messages and the purchase providers described below. Puzzle progress and preferences are primarily stored on your device.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

• Provide the game: save local progress and settings, identify your online account, maintain friends, and provide scores, duels and authorized replays.
• Provide purchased access: verify transactions, unlock Full Loop and restore an existing entitlement.
• Keep play fair and secure: validate submitted moves, reject forged scores or purchase claims, limit abuse and investigate faults.
• Respond to you: handle support, privacy requests and transaction issues.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on performing the service you request; our legitimate interests in maintaining a secure, fair and reliable game; and applicable legal obligations. If a future optional feature requires consent, we will request it before the relevant processing and explain how to withdraw it.

Online features require account and gameplay information to function. You can use the offline chapter puzzles without sending score submissions while disconnected. If you ask us to delete the online account, its online features and history will no longer be available.

We do not sell or rent personal information, use the game for targeted advertising, or use gameplay to train AI models. Score validation and ranking are automated game functions; we do not use your data for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Sharing and public visibility

Your online nickname, avatar, frame and results can be visible to other players. Profile information appears in friend lists, leaderboards, arena results and duels. Choose a nickname that does not disclose personal information you want to keep private.

Submitted arena and duel recordings may be viewable as replays under the game's access rules. Friend codes invite a connection; they are not login credentials. Authentication credentials and the private purchase ID are excluded from public profiles.

We use hosting and communications providers to operate the service, and RevenueCat, Apple and Google to provide purchase functionality. They receive information necessary for those purposes. We may also share information with professional advisers or authorities when legally required, to address abuse or protect rights, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate protections.

Motkan LLC is based in the United States, and service providers may process information there or in other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we use the appropriate legal mechanisms and contractual protections. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

5. Purchases and RevenueCat

Apple or Google processes payment through your store account. We do not receive your full card number. RevenueCat maintains purchase history and entitlement information for validation, purchase analytics, fraud prevention and restoration.

A separate private purchase ID associates verification with the game account; it is different from the public player ID. A store purchase may remain associated with the store account independently of the game profile.

6. Retention and security

• Local progress and settings: kept until you reset or remove app/site storage. Device or store backups may retain their own copies under the settings you control.
• Online profile, friends, results and recordings: kept while the account is used, until you delete the account in the app or a verified deletion request is completed, or until the service data is retired. We may retain limited information where a legal duty or a documented security dispute requires it.
• Purchase records: retained as needed to verify or restore access, resolve a transaction and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations. Apple, Google and RevenueCat retain their independent records under their policies.
• Support messages: kept while addressing your request and for follow-up, dispute or legal requirements; deleted or minimized when those purposes end.
• Operational data: signup quotas use an hourly window. Completed webhook event IDs are pruned after approximately 30 days during event processing. Other technical records are kept only for delivery, fault investigation and security needs.

Recovery backups are restricted from ordinary use. Data covered by an accepted deletion request is removed from active systems; any remaining recovery copy stays isolated until overwritten or deleted. If a backup is restored, the deletion must be applied before the restored data is used. Records subject to a legal preservation duty are restricted to that purpose.

We use measures such as hashed account credentials, the device's secure keychain or keystore for the app's session credential, authenticated API access and server verification of puzzle submissions and paid cosmetics. No service can guarantee complete security. Please protect access to your device and store account.

The game does not provide cross-device progress recovery. Removing app storage can permanently remove local progress and access to the anonymous online account. A Full Loop purchase can always be restored through the store.

7. Cookies, local storage and tracking

This landing website has no advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts, marketing cookies or mailing-list collection. Fonts, artwork and screenshots are served with the site. Its request-template button copies text on your device and sends no request to us.

The playable browser version uses local storage for progress, settings, an online session and cached data. The mobile app uses device storage for the same purposes and keeps its session credential in the system keychain or keystore. These are functional records, rather than advertising trackers. You can clear them through browser or device controls, with the progress-loss consequences described above.

Our host receives ordinary network requests. If you follow a link to an app store, a provider or Motkan's main website, that site's own privacy and cookie practices apply.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us and explain the processing you are concerned about; we will assess your request under the law that applies.

Email info@motkan.com or follow the data request and deletion instructions. We may ask for proportionate proof of account ownership before disclosing or deleting records. A public nickname or friend code alone is insufficient. We respond within applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful restriction or extension.

You can edit your nickname and cosmetics, remove friends, erase progress, delete your online profile (Settings → Delete online profile) and change sound, music or vibration in the app. Uninstalling the app does not delete the separate online profile or store records.

9. Children and families

Echo Loop is a general-audience puzzle game. Parents and guardians should supervise public nicknames, friend codes and purchases. Do not include a child's real name or contact details in a nickname.

If you believe a child has supplied personal information without consent required by applicable law, email info@motkan.com. We will investigate, verify the request where necessary, and remove or restrict the information as required.

10. Changes and contact

We update this policy when the game or processing practices change. The date above identifies the version. We will provide notice of material changes and obtain consent where required before a new use of personal information.
